Pension Plan

The Pension Fund provides retirement, disability and death benefits to employee-members and beneficiaries.

We are located in Illinois and our coverage area is, generally, Illinois and the surrounding states.

This website provides information for persons covered under the Pension Plan. This generally means:

  • you are covered under this Pension Plan if you are a “retail clerk” who works under a contract negotiated between the stores and the local unions.
  • you are not covered under this Pension Plan if you work in the meat department. You should contact the UFCW National Pension Fund at 800-531-2385.

Please note that unless otherwise stated, the information included on this website generally applies to you if you worked in Covered Employment in December, 2010, or later. If you left Covered Employment before December, 2010, contact the Fund Office for information about your pension.

If you are not sure whether you are covered under the Plan, contact us.
